Where your thoughts are directed to your bodily sensations and the breath – a place where it just flows. “…and as I rise and praise, I discover the sacred feminine in all that is. known and unknown.” In this class, you’re invited to inquire into SURRENDER. Surrender to what is. Where you allow the things to be as they are. Yourself. Your Mind. Your Emotions. Your Body. Surrender to the fact that you sometimes can’t surrender. Because there’s a background for it. No need to have the answers now This class focuses on gentle yet powerful practices that help you to energize your whole system. Among other things, we’ll awaken the awareness of our feets and hands – they can function like prana (life force)-nets, to catch energy! Maybe it’ll leave an imprint on you and next time you sit in a cafe or wait for the bus you’ll play with these wonderful bodyparts and see what happens 😋 Life is such a rollercoster, isn’t it? This womb yoga class is dedicated to turmoil and how we can embrace it. Sequences, poses and food for the mind that may help us come back to balance when things are shaking us up a bit 😊 In this class you’re invited to take… …a deep breath !! Breathing usually happens naturally, and yet our breathing patterns can be so limiting. And as prana – life energy – is said to be riding on the breath, I thought it’s a good idea to devote a class to the breath ❤ and connect it with the focus of a womb yoga class: the womb. This class focuses on our heart. …so it can open up, bloom, help us to find a sense of connection, love and light… The heart topic is a classic in Yoga classes – and for a reason I believe! Because it just feels so good. And with regularity, we will fall quicker into this space and stay longer. In this classe we try to find RELEASE – so we can get unstuck and move on… ❤ Sometimes it’s so hard to let go of things that make us tense and do not allow us to feel free. And the harder we try to get rid of them, the stickier they get… We all know that (in theory), don’t we (our bodies definitely know!)? And still many of us constantly try to change ourselves. What if we practice 😊 allowing the blockages to be there instead, giving them some space? While gently inviting them to leave? So if you wish you can join me in this theme… …and offer non-resistance to the resistance 😃. In this Womb Yoga class… tada… we try to (re-)inhabit our youthful INNOCENCE, the excitement about being a woman. ❤ I participated in a menarche-ceremony during my apprenticeship (with the Be Woman Project – maybe you’ve heard about it 😊 ). And found it so magical when our facilitator invited us to visualize ourselves as the young teenage-girls we’ve once been! The girl who was probably at one and at some point so excited to see how her body develops slowly into a woman’s body… before voices may have hit in telling her to be ashamed of her feminine traits… Innocence can be so scary. But don’t you think there lies also so much power in this openness that innocence and trust brings along? And doesn’t innocence radiate lots of attractiveness? Join me in this theme and try to access to your very own excitement about being a woman (however big or small that is. It may be covered, but has never been lost I believe 😃). May we see our bodies as sacred. Our emotions, our feels.
